Ambulance Crew Support Workers

We are seeking dedicated and skilled HCPC Registered Ambulance Crew and Support Workers to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality pre-hospital and emergency medical care to patients, demonstrating exceptional clinical skills, empathy, and a patient-centred approach. 

Key Responsibilities:

– Respond to emergency calls and provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured, as well as high-priority inter-hospital transfers.

– Utilise professional judgment to assess patient needs and provide appropriate medical interventions.

– Work collaboratively with other service personnel to ensure coordinated patient care.

– Maintain accurate and detailed patient care reports and handovers.

– Operate emergency vehicles safely and efficiently.

– Participate in continuous professional development and maintain HCPC registration.

– Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines.

– Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and discretion.

Qualifications:

– NVQ or any health-related qualification.

– Proven experience as an ambulance crew support worker.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.

– A full, clean driving license.

Desirable:

– Additional qualifications in Advanced Life Support, Trauma, or other relevant areas.

– Experience with diverse patient populations.
